How the taint cuts down on your tax bill (if’n you’re smart)

It goes without saying - what follows in this here email taint legal tax advice. I’m not an accountant nor do I handle my own taxes (my accountant does that).

But we’re in the taint of 2024 (as I’m writing this):

It taint Christmas and it taint New Years yet.

Which means…

Every business expense you make before the ball drops into 2025 counts as a 2024 expense.

Most people are taking these days off. I’ve taken an extended Christmas vacation myself because there’s almost no point in reaching out to people because everyone, and I do mean everyone is out of the office.

In fact, I’m not even doing cold outreach right now because everyone has set up their auto-reply email letting any cold outreach scoundrel that they’re on holiday. (Even though, people still open and read their emails… lesson somewhere in there.)

Anyway:

If you’ve been waiting for the best time to reach out and work together, doing it before the year turns to 2025 may be in your best interest:

Not only will you save a chunk of change on your tax bill, but you’ll also make more sales, have fewer headaches, and build a stronger bond with every James, Sally, and Sam on your email list when I implement my strategy, which, checks notes, cleared an additional 20k in revenue in one of my client’s accounts—and we still have three left to run the same promotion.

Personally, I’m taking a trip to the Apple Store today.

The time has finally come to replace my laptop of 7+ years. And by this time tomorrow, when you open up your email inbox and see a fresh email from yours truly, know it’ll be written on a fresh laptop where every key works like it’s supposed to.

But I gotta lot of work to do before heading up to Pittsburgh. I have 7+ years of important files, PDFs, and other thangs I need to make this trans-

-sition as smooth as possible.

So, if you wanna be like me and use this time to invest in your business and save on your tax bill, hit reply and let’s chat.

But be swift - the new year will be here shortly.

John
